For gentlemen suits & ties/kilts/trews. For ladies semi-formal dress of any length, a trouser suit or dressy separates. September can get chilly, so we recommend bringing a cardigan or light jacket in case it's colder than expected. There will be a short walk through the woods from the church to the reception venue, we suggest avoiding stiletto heels or using heel protectors.

Yes! We’d love for you to take photos however please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We will be providing a link to a drop box to share all the photos you have taken throughout the day.

Yes, there is plenty of parking and you are welcome to pick your car up the next morning. There are plenty of taxi companies based in Thirsk - we strongly recommend booking in advance for evening transport back to your accommodation.

As much as we love the little ones in your life, our wedding will be adults-only, with the exception of children of the immediate family. If you need help with childcare recommendations or have questions, please get in touch.
